Trinity’s commitment to Education Sponsorship Programs
At Trinity Metals, one of our strongest beliefs is that real impact begins with people. When we invest in education and training, we are not only supporting individual dreams. We are strengthening families, communities, and the future of our business.
Since 2020, Trinity’s Education Sponsorships have been a powerful expression of this commitment. What started as an initiative to support employees has grown into a broader program that also uplifts talented children from disadvantaged backgrounds within our host communities. Today, we proudly watch students who joined the program in primary school advance into high school and university. A journey made possible through access to school fees, learning materials, consistent encouragement and support and a belief in a better future.
Building Skills, Confidence, and Opportunity
The program is designed to open doors. It enables employees and young people to pursue higher education, professional certifications, and specialized training that build confidence, capability, and long-term opportunity. For Trinity, this investment directly strengthens our technical capacity, nurtures innovation, and ensures we are preparing a workforce ready for the evolving future of the mining and metals industry.
This year, the program has expanded once again, sponsoring three Trinity professionals to advance their academic and leadership journeys.
Supporting Growth Across Our Operations

Hururaini Iradukunda, Mine Geologist at Nyakabingo Mine, has begun an exciting new chapter as a full-time postgraduate student in the United Kingdom. She is pursuing a Master of Science in International Mineral Resources Management at Dundee University, Scotland.
For Hururaini, this opportunity represents growth beyond geology—connecting technical expertise with leadership, strategy, and global perspectives. The knowledge she gains will assist in strengthening our ability to evaluate and optimize the resource potential of our orebodies across our operations and in Rwanda.

Juliette Kabatesi, Group Laboratory Manager, recently completed a prestigious 10-week RLP Leadership and Management Program in Germany.
The experience brought together professionals from around the world and combined leadership training with hands-on exposure in leading organizations. Juliette described her job-shadowing experience at FRITSCH GmbH as eye-opening, highlighting the power of teamwork, clear processes, and collaboration across departments.
Beyond technical learning, the program strengthened her leadership confidence and people-centered approach. “Knowing that Trinity Metals believes in my growth is truly motivating,” she shared. “This opportunity has boosted my confidence and my commitment to making a meaningful impact.”

Esperance Imanirafasha, OHS Superintendent at Nyakabingo Mine, is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at Curtin University in Australia.
Her studies focus on improving how we optimally mine and process the critical minerals. A huge opportunity in future will be mineral processing across all our operations – Esperance’s goals and Trinity’s goals are aligned – we want to enhance mineral extraction and processing efficiencies. Her learning will contribute directly to more efficient and sustainable mining practices.
A Commitment That Goes Beyond Today
Each of these stories reflects more than academic achievement—they represent Trinity’s long-term vision. By investing in education, we are empowering individuals, strengthening our operations, and creating shared value that reaches far beyond the workplace.
As we continue to grow the Education Sponsorship Program, we remain proud of the lives we are transforming and the future industry leaders we are developing.
At Trinity Metals, empowering people is not just a value, it is how we build a stronger tomorrow.
